iDialog/iDijalog

Cooperative project between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria in the European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008.

In this cooperative project, three grammar schools from Bosnia-Herzegovina and Austria respectively will be working on new perspectives for intercultural learning. List of participants.

Aim:

“Perceptions” being the key expression, the participants will examine self-perception as well as their perception of the ‘other’. Changes of perspective will provide fertile ground for intercultural dialogue.

The results of the project are to be presented as an ‘Alternative Travel Guide for Young People’ in dialogue form. It should contain a presentation of the participating students’ personal environment as well as reflect their own expectations of and/or (travelling) experiences made in foreign regions. Thus, perceptions of the self and the ‘other’ complement one another and start a dialogue.
