Kick Off Meeting
Vienna, 10–12 January 2008
25 school teams from all over Europe will be our guests in Vienna and will develop projects in the fields of language, innovation, participation, education and creativity in workshops.
The schools will enter into international partnerships with the formation of crossborder teams. The young people and teachers will then continue their work in these teams until the Dialoguing Youth Event from 25–27 May 2008 in Seggauberg, Graz and Maribor.

Seminar Preparation / what to bring with you
For the meeting at the World Café on 10 Jan. 2008, we request you to bring an object which symbolizes your country and your cultural identity. There are no limits to your imagination. Each team, i.e. each school, may only bring one object. Discuss your ideas and select the object together with your classmates and teachers. Consider why you have chosen this object and not another. Reflect on its meaning for you personally and your country.
In order to be able to prepare the event adequately, we ask you to do the following:
- Send us a digital photo of your object to querdenken@kulturkontakt.or.at by 14 Dec. 2007
- Send us a photo of your class (same address and deadline)
- Write us one sentence about your object and why you have chosen it (in German, English or both languages)
