Aim:

The aim of the tour.reg school partnerships is to stimulate a transfer of knowledge and experience in the fields of vocational theory and practice, school profile development and cooperation with local tourism industries.

Project schedule:

The teachers and students of the respective partner schools will realise a cross-border project on “Tourism and Intercultural Dialogue.”

Project ideas were concretised at a meeting in Vienna on 23 November 2007 as part of a study trip to Austria made by principals and teachers from the Serbian partner schools.

The topics of the cross-border school projects focus on comparing the relevant regions in terms of offered tourism services and special emphases. Moreover, the discovery of aspects which different regions have in common as well as the collective development of new offers and approaches are at the centre of attention.

The school projects will be presented at the Dialoguing Youth Event from 25 to 28 May 2008 in Seggauberg, Graz and Maribor (Sl)
