ROMANIA: ‘’Orizont Cultural T’’-<orizont_cultural_t@yahoo.com> Cultural Association, trainers, experts and artists promoting cultural heritage, giving us proffesional suport, interested in motivation of the students and parents through facility intercultural and intergenerational dialogue through a structured programme of artistic and cultural activities. The professional artists will teach pupils to dance, twice a week, preparing a bunch representative to make the video, contact person Roxana Timplaru <roxana_t2004@yahoo.com>; famouse artist’s name , specialist in folk music and songs -Tudor Gheorghe.
GREECE: EKPOL: <ekpol@hol.gr > This is a social and cultural organization and it’s intention is to develop joint energies, that ensure specialized information about our project and provide support on cultural field.
TURKEY:Elazig Music and Dance Association.It is a cultural association providing informatics support of traditional folk dances. The artists will give us assistances, folk traditional costumes, musical support and professional advices.
5. Idea of the project / project description / runtime // Entstehung der Projektidee / Projektbeschreibung / Laufzeit
The learners will increase their motivation for learning foreign languages and the use of a computer thanks to their participation in the project. We‘ll try to prove that dancing is the most effective tool for global communication. The staff will increase the experience in the field of education and European dimension through dances. At the same time it can be documented how a good cooperation among groups from different countries can be achieved, even beyond linguistic barriers, due to interesting topics, good group leading and inventively thinking people. Interest in new media and foreign languages is an important way of leveling opportunities and participating in the culture of EU countries. Educators and students will work together to exchange experiences, good practices and methods to develop perception, creativity in the respect of folk dances as important link between the school life and active integration in community life. They will learn through having fun. They will be organized workshops to create artistic bunch of folk traditional music and dances in our countries, GR, TR, RO, good opportunity all European countries to learn, discover and to respect as European values. 6. Aims of the project // Projektziele
Our partnership is a very special opportunity to promote our cultural folk traditions, to discover, to learn and to respect the values of music and dances in the European countries, to learn living entirety harmoniously and to exceed the differences inherent to their cultural, religious and linguistic diversity, to develop one citizenship European active and open on the world, respectful of the diversity cultural and found on the value common of the UE.
To foster knowledge and understanding among students and teachers of the diversity of European folk traditional music and dances.
To stimulate students to improve their values for a better and mutual understanding in an enlarged and common Europe.
To broaden pupils’ and teachers’ knowledge for better understanding of other European countries.
To motivate students in practicing modern languages and computer technology.
To enhance the quality and European dimension in institutions involved.
To increase the students self-awareness, in order to find common values for school and parents.
To encourage partners, local community, educational staff to reflect upon European values.
To raise awareness about ways of living in different countries;
To be in contact with different cultures in different parts in Europe;
To enlarge knowledge about different countries in Europe;
To make cross-cultural contacts with colleagues in their own and related fields.
To facilitate learning and intergenerational dialogue through a structured programme of artistic and cultural activities and mobility of students.
To develop new methods of communication and forming of groups of young students.

February 2008:Introduction of project to all schools community, Organizing the project team in each schools, Preparing the power point presentations about the countries involved,Articles for news papers, Exchanging of the pictures of folk dance costumes, sending and receiving from partners albums, CD/ DVD-, Putting these pictures to the CREATIVE Laboratory, Preparing Creative Thinking first REPORT.
March 2008:Preparing relevant documentary, Work with experts, artists, Work of students folk dances performance, Preparing the power point presentations and videos about the folk dances,Students folk presentations, booklet of common work.
April 2008:Putting all the documents to the wiki, Work with experts, artists, organizations, etc.,
May 2008:.A bunch of the most representative traditional folk dances will be presented by dancer band of the schools, CD/ DVD, movie. Dancing competition, Preparing a magazine and CD,DVD of the project, including the articles of the students involved, drawing, photos, Project Presentation, Power Point, Video.
