5. Idea of the project / project description / runtime // Entstehung der Projektidee / Projektbeschreibung / Laufzeit

Students of both schools would like to discuss the similarities and differences within the regional and national culture of two countries. They want to get to know their partner school better, it’s region, traditions, customs, dances, music and other elements of the culture. Students have already planned some steps to cooperate with the foreign friends. Oncoming results seem to be rather impressive as students will create the common album and a video clip of our cooperation.

6. Aims of the project // Projektziele

One of the main priorities is to enable our students the contact with the foreign students, their culture and traditions. In this way they will improve their language skills but also broaden their creativity and communication skills. The students will break the inhibitions, fear against unknown and, on the other hand will develop such values as tolerance, mutual understanding and motivation to learn and get to know something new. They will also have the chance to meet new European inhabitants, discuss different topics, express their opinions and promote their own country or region.
